The Wayfarer's Bookshop was established in 1996 and specializes in 1480-1920 important, rare and unusual antique, antiquarian, collectible and old autographs, books, documents, ephemera, globes, maps, photographs, prints and artefacts exclusively relating to the exploration, travel and voyages in Africa, the Americas, the Antarctic, the Arctic, Asia, and the Pacific.

We are always interested in material relating to the exploration of the interior of Africa, especially the search for the sources of the Niger and Nile. Central Asian exploration, especially travels to Tibet, the Himalayas, Mongolia and Siberia. Arctic exploration, especially Search for Franklin material, voyages to find a Northwest Passage and voyages towards the North Pole. Antarctic exploration, especially journeys towards the South Pole. Pacific voyages, especially circumnavigations and voyages to Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, Hawaii and Tahiti. South American exploration, especially voyages up the Amazon. The first printing of materials in any language is of interest to us.
