A number of images captioned and signed in negative. The photographers include Scowen & Co., C.A. Coy Ltd, C.A. Co., Skeen & Co., Apothecaries Co. Period green pebbled cloth album gilt titled on cover "Photographies." A couple of images mildly faded but overall a very good album with strong interesting images.

Overall a interesting and representative album of the southern part of Sri Lanka in the later part of the nineteenth century.
